Matt Grove is a Principal Consultant with Recruiting Toolbox who works with leading companies like Disney, Target, ESPN, Epic Games, Autodesk, Nestle, Booking, and many others to enhance their recruiting and sourcing strategies. Since joining Recruiting Toolbox in 2013, he has been an in-demand trainer, training thousands of recruiters and hiring managers all over the world.
Matt has more than 20 years of recruiting and human resources experience. Before joining Recruiting Toolbox, Matt was a recruiting leader at KPMG, where he ran recruiting for a multi-billion dollar business, advised executive leaders, created a new hiring and candidate engagement strategy that aligned recruiting to the business, and helped the business deliver record results. He also built their highly successful sourcing function from the ground up. His sourcing team model and trainings have been implemented by KPMG firms around the world.
Matt has been a featured speaker and workshop leader at national recruiting conferences and leadership events like Talent42, SHRM Talent Conference, ERE, SourceCon, and Recruiters Network events. Matt gives back through his work with several non-profits to help unemployed and under-employed people find their next career opportunities.
Matt is based in the Chicago, Illinois area, and when he isn’t traveling the world for work, you will likely find him at a local theater or opera production supporting the arts. As a former music theater actor, he is addicted to great live performances and supports local theater companies and schools who are unsung heroes in the lives of so many. Matt is a proud alum of Southwestern University and Texas Tech University and is SPHR certified.
