Annie Boneta

Senior Consultant & Trainer

Annie Boneta is an immigrant from a rural village in Vietnam who has spent her entire life helping under-represented groups find their voices. Annie was born from adversity and launched into the world of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. She has over 20 years of talent and HR experience with a variety of global companies such as Starbucks and Oakley, and startups AutoGravity and Zwift. Employment branding is weaved into every recruiting strategy and culture Annie has been a part of, and she has led the efforts of four different ATS implementations as a change management project manager.

Annie is passionate about building inclusive cultures and creating an environment where individuals can thrive. She was only the fifth employee at AutoGravity, and quickly scaled the company to 150 employees who spoke a combined total of over 30 languages. She has helped companies gain recognition on the Forbes Best Companies List and Best Tech Diversity List, and earn exceptional Glassdoor rankings. Annie is often invited to speak on various panels regarding talent best practices and diversity opportunities.

Philanthropy and community involvement is a way of life for Annie and her family. She is on the Board for OneOC, the largest nonprofit in Southern California, connecting businesses with other nonprofits to strengthen the community. Annie is also a Board VP for the Green Apron Alliance, harnessing the power of Starbucks alumni globally. Annie is an active member of Out in Tech and has led and participated in various employee resource groups throughout her career.

When she’s not working, Annie can be found hiking, caring for her many animals, or purchasing another 50 pounds of flour for her baking obsession.
